English Muffin Bread
By: Amber Grangroth
Who doesn’t love a warm, toasted English muffin? This bread is just that but in bread form!
It is so easy to make that when I asked my 12 year old son to make bread, he chose this recipe and made it without any help. He is not an experienced bread baker. that’s my department. But on occasion, I let the boys try their skills in the kitchen. It’s important for them to know how to do things in the kitchen.
English Muffin Bread is fairly quick to make. You can have warm fresh bread in only a couple of hours. I like to make this in my stand mixer, and then there is no kneading done by hand. The mixer does it for you!
English Muffin Bread Recipe
5 1/2 c warm water
6 1/2 t yeast

1. To a stand mixer add all ingredients in order. Dough will still be sticky. Let rise 30 minutes
2. Grease 4 bread pans. Divide the dough into the bread pans. This will be messy! Let rise 30 min more.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake bread for 30 minutes.
4. Remove bread from oven and rub the tops with butter. This is optional.
5. Bake an additional 10 minutes.
