Chocolate Chip Cookies
By: Amber Grangroth
Aren’t Chocolate Chip Cookies everyone’s favorite cookie? Or just mine? I love them fresh from the oven, warm and gooey. They melt in your mouth, and soon you wonder where all those cookies went.
Thankfully, they don’t all end up in my belly. I’ve got quite a crew of cookie monsters that help me gobble them up!
And the cookie dough…who doesn’t sample the cookiedough while your baking? How would you know if the cookies are going to taste good or if you added too much salt unless you sample the dough?
My oldest did many walk by cookie dough swipes as I was baking yesterday. He thought he was being sneaky!
This recipe makes a huge batch of cookies! Like 7 or 8 dozen, unless you make them big. I like kid size cookies. Not too big and not too small.
Whatever we don’t eat while they’re warm, go to the freezer. They make a great little sweet treat for lunches. Or to take on the go, to a park or day trip. I pull them out for company, and they go great dipped in a hot cup of coffee!
