Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. In a large bowl or mixer, cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well
  4. Add flour, baking soda, salt, mix to combine.
  5. Add chocolate chips or add in's of choice!
  6. Roll into 1 - 1 1/2 inch balls and place 2 - 3 inches apart on an un-greased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for 2-4 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
