Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Melt 1 T butter, mix in 1 T cocoa powder. Pour into bunt pan. Place a plastic sandwich bag over your hand and spread all around the pan.
- In a stand mixer add all the dry ingredients, mix to combine.
- Add wet ingredients and mix well. Scrape down the sides as needed.
- Pour into greased bundt pan and tap the pan down on the counter to release air bubbles.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until a fork comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes. Flip onto a wire rack and let cool completely. Place onto cake stand or platter and top with Chocolate Ganache.
Notes
Chocolate Ganache:
1/2 c semi sweet chocolate chips
2 T butter
2 T corn syrup
1 T hot water
Add chocolate chips, butter and corn syrup to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Mix well, if not melted completely microwave in 10 second increments. Add 1 T hot water and mix until smooth. Spoon over cake. Enjoy with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
